Set in the honkytonk world of marathon dancing in Atlantic City 1933, an assortment of depression era souls are eager to dance their way into fame & prizes gather on the Steel Pier.

Back to the Future Parts II & III: An On Set Experience Attention all Back to the Future fans! Have you ever dreamed of being a part of the movie? Now’s your chance! Park Bakery in Seaside Park, NJ is bringing the On Set Experience to life on June 3rd and 4th from 7:00AM – 2:00PM each day.
On Saturday, join us for Part II where our Doc Brown and Marty McFly actors will transport you to the future. And on Sunday, get ready for Part III as we travel back in time to the Wild West. Get ready for an immersive experience as you become a part of the movie with our talented actors!

Sunday, June 4th, 2023
Forked River Rotary 10th Annual Doggie Derby.
This dog-friendly event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Jones Road Park in Forked River.
Sponsored by the Forked River Rotary Club, the day will include shows, games, a bouncy house, dog-themed products offered at a number of vendor booths, a food court and on-site radio broadcast and music provided by WBNJ.
There will also be a number of family pet novelty contests including Most Happy Dog, Best Dressed, Best Tricks and a Dog and Owner Look-A-Like Contests
Admission is $5 per person with a maximum of $20 per family; ages 10 and younger enter for free.
There is a $2 registration fee for each dog to enter each pet contest.

Last year absolutely rocked, so we are DOUBLING the Grand Prize to $1,000, teaming up with @959therat @jersey_rock to promote, and moving @oparacing Boat Racing Village right next to the Band Shell
Don’t wait! Bands only have until March 1st to sign up, send an email to RecreationCommittee@pointbeach.org with the following:

– MUST HAVE a .jpeg file of your band image/logo
– links to video of 2-3 live performances

– links to music sharing via Spotify, Bandcamp, Apple Music, etcEach band will get a 10 minute set to blow away our guest judges and hundreds of potential adoring fans in town for Boat Race weekend.
We will only be accepting the 10 best acts across two categories: Pro and Garage (18 and under).
We had acts from multiple genres last year and we hope to get even more.

Join the Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District along with the Vintage Auto Club of Ocean County for a classic car show along Washington St.
Live Band and DJ will entertain the crowd.
Downtown businesses and restaurants will be open for dinner, drinks and shopping.
Cars that would like to participate need to line up on Hadley Ave. facing south towards Washington St. no earlier than 4:30pm.
Volunteers will be there to let you know when you can begin to pull your cars into the designated area.
No cars should be pulling directly onto Washington Street.
All cars must line up in the staging area on Hadley Avenue.
All cars manufactured prior to 1997 are welcome.
